2. Subject to the limitations set forth for the business of Technical Vocational Education and Training; and to conduct other activities as may be necessary or incidental to or desirable in connection with the foregoing.
  • All education and training shall, as a minimum, follow the Ugandan regulation and standards. Wherever possible, the education and training shall be upgraded towards an international standard. The students will be issued national certificates issued by the NKB Vocational Centre/Government, and special international certificates issued by Lucubrate (the educational project of NKB Norway).
  • All education and training for all programs shall include generic skills as following: English, Mathematics, Entrepreneurship, Business skills, Ethics, Accounting, Budgeting, Health and Safety, Sports, and Computer/Smart phone skills.
  • All education and training for all programs shall include; classroom teaching, web based learning, practical training on the campus, production for sale, and practical training in the relevant industry (apprenticeship – around 50% of the training).
  • The following skills shall be included (not limited to) in the Technical Vocational Education and Training programs:
  1. Building industry:
  2. Masonry (Bricklayer)
  3. Carpenter
  4. Plumber
  5. Electrician (including renewable energy)
  • Agriculture:
  • Cereals, vegetables and fruits/gardening
  • Landscape and environment
  • Animal farming
  • Fish farming industry:
  • Tilapia fish farming
  • Fish feed production
  • Fish processing

The letters and numbers indicate priority. Masonry class (number A1) shall start within August 2018 with at least 20 students. The next on the priority is B1 (Cereals, vegetables and fruits/gardening), then C1, thereafter A2, and so forth.
